Gary Owen

CISO at iCapital Network

Gary Owen is chief information security officer at iCapital Network. He joined iCapital Network from Wells Fargo, where he was CISO and head of information security responsible for identity and access management, security engineering, line-of-business engagement, and cyber defense and monitoring.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Gary was chief information security officer at WarnerMedia with responsibility for global information security strategy, technology risk management, information protection, and compliance.

Gary is a previous chairman and vice chairman of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC). He regularly works with U.S. agencies on issues like critical infrastructure protection.

Gary received a bachelor’s of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont. He is based in New York City.
