Use Policy for FS-ISAC Brand Assets and Likeness

FS-ISAC is the member-driven, not-for-profit organization that advances cybersecurity and resilience in the global financial system, protecting the financial institutions and the people they serve. The FS-ISAC® brands and trademarks are protected assets, the proprietary intellectual property of FS-ISAC, Inc. and a representation of the mission.

This policy is for entities with which FS-ISAC has a business relationship and/or has entered into a contractual agreement, including, but not limited to entities participating in the Affiliate Program, sponsoring events, and/or other service providers.

Restricted Uses
Third parties may not use the FS-ISAC name, likeness, logos, logotypes, icons, color palettes, trademarks or other elements of FS-ISAC proprietary and intellectual property as follows:

• Include on websites or digital properties without express approval.
  
• Include any likeness in URLs e.g., https://www.company.com/fsisac.
  
• Use quotes attributed to FS-ISAC as an organization or staff. 
  
• Include in features, blogs or articles without prior approval from FS-ISAC Communications.
  
• Include in press releases, mentions or media kits without prior approval from FS-ISAC Communications.
  
• Include in collateral material e.g., fact or sales sheets. 
  
• Include on promotional merchandise e.g., clothing or swag related materials (see sponsor exception below). 
  
• Use as a prominent element in publication, presentation, seminar or conference content without prior approval from FS-ISAC Communications.
  
• Imply a legal partnership or endorsement of products, services by FS-ISAC.
  
• Use that may cause confusion about ownership of intellectual property. 
  
• Any use that may damage FS-ISAC's reputation or goodwill.
  
• Combine the marks with graphics or taglines.
  
• Alter, animate, or distort the marks.
  

Approved Uses
Third parties may:

• Promote involvement with FS-ISAC as a Affiliate, Early-Stage Affiliate, Expert Resource Pool, MSSP, Sector Advisor or Critical Provider with the FS-ISAC-provided seal image on their website.
  
• Promote FS-ISAC participation at third-party events with prior approval from FS-ISAC Communications.
  
• Confirmed event sponsors may use the brand and marks for promoting the event publicly in accordance with Sponsor Terms and Conditions. This includes mentions, sharing and posting to social sites without identifiable information specific to the venue or attendees.

Use of the FS-ISAC name/logos without prior, express, written authorization of FS-ISAC may constitute trademark infringement, violate federal, state or international laws, and FS-ISAC reserves any and all rights to respond appropriately to prohibit misuse, tarnishment or dilution of FS-ISAC intellectual property.
