Annual Threat Review and Predictions
To protect the world’s financial ecosystem, FS-ISAC’s global network of cybersecurity, resilience, and fraud experts must be able to navigate a constantly evolving cyber landscape. And the stakes are high.
Every day, lone hackers, organized gangs, and nation-state threat actors challenge the operational resilience of the financial services sector. Powerful new tools enable more effective fraud, ransomware, supply chain, and DDoS attacks, among other threats. Emerging technologies, geopolitically-motivated cyber activity, and new regulation complicate an already complex operational environment.
However, the financial sector's established information-sharing systems prove that by exchanging early threat warnings, offering mitigation strategies, and practicing incident response, we can safeguard the global financial system and its users.
This annual industry-wide report highlights key threats and trends in the 2025 cyber landscape — and our highly-anticipated predictions — for the financial sector. Fill out the form on the right to download our findings.
