In April 2026, Anthropic announced that its new Mythos Preview model showed a new level of skills in identifying and exploiting software vulnerabilities. They launched Project Glasswing to help defenders identify and remediate vulnerabilities in open source software and critical infrastructure. The Eclipse Foundation, a global open source foundation based in Europe, was part of Project Glasswing from its inception. This webinar will describe the lessons learned from our experience with using Mythos to scan a large code base using a small team of security experts. It will also provide a call to action for what organizations need to do to respond with the new normal of AI-assisted vulnerability detection and exploitation.
