FS-ISAC Cyber-Attack Against Insurance Systems (CAIS) Exercise

Tabletop Simulation Exercise for Insurance Industry Cybersecurity Professionals

2020 dates coming soon.

How would your organization respond to a cyber-attack? What if an attack impaired your computer-based operations or processes? What would it take to get your processes back to normal?

Join FS-ISAC's Insurance Risk Council (IRC) exercise team for a confidential, tabletop Cyber-Attack Against Insurance Systems (CAIS) exercise. This free virtual exercise simulates an attack on insurance companies to help gauge your institution's readiness in the event of such an attack or incident. Participate from your own premises in this exercise which only requires approximately two hours on two consecutive days.

Participating in this simulated cyber-attack exercise, in a safe, non-attributed environment, allows your organization to:

  • Evaluate current risk mitigation procedures related to cyber-attacks.
  • Identify potential critical gaps in planning, playbooks and processes.
  • Engage in a test of your incident response team's ability to respond to major incidents.
  • Raise awareness and educate staff regarding procedures to respond to complex threats.
  • Benchmark business practices based on aggregated participants' responses.
  • Develop appropriate risk mitigation recommendations in response to the types of attacks used in this exercise.
  • Receive an after-action report highlighting lessons learned from the exercise and categorized benchmark results.

FS-ISAC membership is not required to participate in these free exercises.
